I had the same experience with the Cisco 7942.

All the ciscoplus phones are *more-or-less* the same, settings-wise - there
are a few settings in the generated xml files (probably for all the
ciscoplus phones) that the phones just don't like at all.

  Subject: [sipx-users] Issues with configurations

I have found a few things that just do not work. This is from a fresh
install of 4.0.1

Aastra 57i - if someone transfers me a call it drops after 5 seconds. Also
speed dial does not show up on this phone anywhere on the screen

Cisco 7971 - this is a ciscoplus phone and uses the same config as the
ciscoplus 7970. The configuration that is auto generated for this phone does
not work at all and I had to create my own file. (see below)

Polycom Presence is not working on an IP-650 with an EM
