We are working closely with Skype and all I can say right now is to stay tuned.

We were one of the first systems to do interoperability testing with the beta version of that service, and it worked very well. Skype has not yet made that service generally available - when they do, we believe that it will work with sipXecs 4.0. How exactly will that work? Will it just support SipXecs phones working internally? Presumably you won't be able to route a Skype call to a normal ITSP through SipXbridge, as the ITSP won't support the Skype "codec". Or is the purpose of this to allow the official Skype server to act as an ITSP which a Skype phone can connect to through SipXbridge? Regards, Keith.
