I think the least problematic solutions have been offered to you. Realize these solutions are tried and KNOWN TO WORK WELL. The fact that they are not flooded on eBay for pennies on the dollar is likely due to the recent model nature, which offers the LEAST ISSUES. In the future, you might think to address this from a budgetary standpoint first, by understanding your options, before locking yourself into something that might prove to be unfeasible. Good luck.

I would not say it's not realistic, there are tons of good used deals out there, a grand on something like this is very realistic from what I can tell :).
