Sorry. Let me be more precise. Don't delete it when sipxecs service is running. It's safe to stop the sipxecs service, delete the contents of /var/sipxdata/tmp and start the sipxecs service. In other words there should be nothing in this directory that sipxecs cannot recreate when needed.
