Hello, I do not have experience with the SunComm units but I am writing a quick start guide for the Topex MIP (2 channel, quad band, MC55i) and SIPX. I do know from experience that the MIP is a 10 minute install when used with Asterisk. I do know the higher density Topex equipment interoperates easily with SIPX, but that is not your garden variety setup, so not very practical for SMB use. I'll let you know what I find out if interested. (Disclaimer: I distribute Topex in the USA, so one of my objectives is to confirm good operation with GSM gateways a broad variety of softswitches).
