I just finished setting up my redundant proxy and let sipX handle the DNS configuration. Everything works, however I can't get my Polycom phones to obey the weight setting changes I made to the zone. They will, without fail, stick to registering with the primary proxy unless I force them to register to the secondary proxy by setting SRV record priorities. Here is what dig returns for my DNS query:

# dig _sip._udp.ippbx.co.brazos.tx.us SRV

; <<>> DiG 9.3.6-P1-RedHat-9.3.6-4.P1.el5 <<>> _sip._udp.ippbx.co.brazos.tx.us SRV

_sip._udp.ippbx.co.brazos.tx.us. 1800 IN SRV    1 55 5060 it.ippbx.co.brazos.tx.us.
_sip._udp.ippbx.co.brazos.tx.us. 1800 IN SRV    1 60 5060 it2.ippbx.co.brazos.tx.us.

Do Polycom phones just go with the first record they receive when it comes to SRV? Am I doing something wrong? My Grandstream phones and Audiocodes gateways seem to be more or less splitting registrations between the two servers.

Thanks
