For remote workers both 5060 and 30000-31000 udp need to be forwarded to the
sipx server.

Your nat needs to be static port nat. You alg or sip filter in netscreen
needs to be off.

I have details and diagrams on my blog:

Subject: [sipx-users] Remote Worker - No Audio

I have setup remote worker as a test using a Polycom 550 (Bootrom 4.1.2,
FW 3.1.3C)

I can establish a call to (or from) an internal or external recipient,
but no audio is heard from the other end.

There were no issues registering the phone.

Server is behind NAT and has been setup according to remote workers
cheat sheet.
The only Ports forwarded in on the Netscreen firewall are 5060 (TCP &
UDP) and TFTP.

I have seen several other posts related to this, but no clear answers.
I'm sure I've missed something, but can not pinpoint.
Please point me in the right direction.

Thanks,

Austin Curry
