It might make sense to have three level - Superadmin, Admin, Support.

User Admin - I would add

Ability to change MOH - not upload, but change for seasonal reasons, for
special advertising, etc.

Ability to change Auto Attendant Messages - and scheduling - for holidays,
special events, etc.

Not fond of this for creating phones. With the new discovery features,
adding a discovered phone makes sense, but adding a new one I feel could be
problematic for some.

Subject: [sipx-users] Future Version Feature Requests

User Admin
This may or may not be in the works, but I would like to suggest a role
lower than that of superadmin to be assigned to another user to aid in
administering SipX.

This role would be used to allow the Admin to selectively assign
Administrative permissions within SipXecs to another user without allowing
full control.
I see this as similar to choosing permissions for a user (Checkboxes?)

ie: User Admin -

Change PIN numbers

Create Phones

Access/Print Call Detail Records

Restart Phones

Add Phones/User

Configure Conferences

User Conferences

It may also be helpful for users to be able to create and Administer their
own conferences to a certain degree.
This would require more discussion and limits, as I have not fully
considered the implications (Creating an open conference that could tie up
all available lines/Channels?)

I currently address this by creating several conferences and allowing the
receptionist to handle the "scheduling" of the conference by extension. Does
anyone else do differently or do you handle conference requests yourself and
setup on the fly?

Is there a place to post such suggestions to the Dev team?

I'm curious to see what list members think before submitting.

Austin
