I noticed that vsftpd is configured by default to disallow directory listings -- very nice!

However, has anyone gone the extra step and attempted to conduct provisioning via https? I'd almost prefer this over ftp/ftps due to firewall passive/active issues that I may run into with remote users and Polycom handsets.

I noticed that port 443 answers on the default setup, but Firefox throws an ssl_error_rx_record_too_long error -- since I am not sure what sipx is doing using port 443, I'm hesitant to try and break it.

Any thoughts?
