I have noticed the problem I have had lies with NAT, or lack of options to
configure the handset for nat. (sipxecs on a public ip,. handset behind a
nat) - after setting up a local sipxecs the problem was fixed..

a 7960 has a option for NAT enable (nat_enable and nat_received_processing)
and thus works fine, whereas the 7941 and 7970 (others I would imaging too)
don't have a option to configure this via the gui and wont work behind a nat
'out of the box', I will investigate editing the .cnf.xml to include the
nat_enable & nat_received_processing option and see how it goes,

has anyone else had this issue? any comments ?

Regards,

Ben Wannan
