So what you would like to do is push out a call destined for a particular
number to go out a particular gateway?

You need a user (without a phone). You want the user to have a permanent
call forward to a "dummy" number (hint: add 999 in front of the number).
Then add a dial plan rule to see (example:999123456789) the dialed number,
"strip the "999" and send the call/digits desired out a specific gateway.

Subject: [sipx-users] Dialing Plan - Gateway

Hi,

I am trying to work out how to direct incoming calls into a SipX PBX by the
CID to either go to an Attendant or out another Gateway but I think it's one
of those things where you think too much and end up not seeing the trees for
the forest.

What I am looking at is a way where if a call comes in with a particular CID
I want it to go to any one of say two (or more) attendants but if a call
comes in on another CID I want to push it out a Gateway.

Eg:
CID1 ----- AutoAttendant1
CID2 ----- AutoAttendant2
CID3 ----- ACD Line 1
CID4 ----- GW3

The purpose is to be able to direct say calls coming in on CID1 to go to the
standard AutoAttendant, calls coming in on CID2 go to an Exchange
AutoAttendant, Calls coming in on CID3 go to ACD Queue 1 and calls coming in
on CID4 get routed to a fax server.

I believe I can add the CID to the alias' of the AutoAttendants in these
cases and the line number of the ACD queue can have the CID number in it,
but how do I simply push the call out another gateway?

Is that achievable? If I do something like set up a dummy user with call
forwarding it doesn't seem to work. If I set up a Hunt group that doesn't do
what I want to do either.

Would someone be able to offer some suggestions as to how I can achieve
this?

Thanks in advance
