FWIW you can't use the newer (cheaper) Polycom 335 phones with 4.0.4 or the current polycom firmware release (3.2.2).
I wouldn't deploy it in any sort of critical/mass production mode, but the trunk seems to be kept in pretty good shape. Its good enough to use on a daily basis for my normal desk phone and with some tech savvy users who can deal with an occasional weirdness or non working feature (like the currently broken BLA). The trunk Freeswitch does sit there and burn up CPU in its idle loop, but so far hasn't gone wild for me like it has for Tony (with it running for days at a time), its always just sucking about 5% of a core. The AA and voicemail system has some problem with prompts playing, the first little bit of audio sounds clipped off (maybe 100ms worth) compared to how it worked in 4.0.4 -- there is supposedly some large voice mail change coming so I haven't tried to figure it out. -Eric On Feb 3, 2010, at 8:12 PM, Picher, Michael wrote: > It will be ready when it's ready.
