I confirm the problem was the firewall. For some reasons it rewrites the "via"
field in the wrong way. Be careful to ALG.
Problem solved. Thank you guys!

Thank you Michael for your suggestion. I did it but that was not the problem.
I discovered the problem is probably related to the firewall. When I get
unauthorized from
Eutelia, I can see in the via field this:
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP
172.16.172.2:5080:5080;branch=z9hG4bK9fcf98f381f708cd921a8bc04cc88761;rport=10342
172.16.172.2:5080:5080 is quite ugly and I suspect the firewall do that. I'll
try changing that and provide feedback

I would upgrade to the newer version of scs... this will bring you up
to 4.0.4.

Subject: [sipx-users] sipxbridge does not send authorization
I have a SIPX 4.0.1-015823 (SCS 3.0) and I tried to setup a SIP trunk
towards Eutelia.
This is not the first SIP trunk I setup with SIPXBridge and Eutelia so I
expected an easy job but.. the trunk doesnt register.
Looking at the capture pcap file I see this:
24 172.16.172.2 83.211.227.21 SIP Request: REGISTER
sip:voip.eutelia.it
24 83.211.227.21 172.16.172.2 SIP Status: 401 Unauthorized
28 172.16.172.2 83.211.227.21 SIP Request: REGISTER
sip:voip.eutelia.it
28 83.211.227.21 172.16.172.2 SIP Status: 401 Unauthorized
(0 bindings)
Note that after the unauthorized there are 4 seconds before the new
request. Inside the third SIP packet I see
always REGISTER CSEQ 1 and not CSEQ 2 as I would expect
It seems as if SIPXBridge dont listen the Unauthorized
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you,
Heros
