If anyone cares to duplicate this it's obvious in User Groups Settings --> Instant Messaging Instant Messaging Enable IM account (Default: unchecked) If checked, the associated account will be configured on the Instant Messaging service. Add user group as IM group (Default: unchecked) If checked, the user group will be added as an IM group on the Instant Messaging service. Add MyBuddy to the IM group (Default: unchecked) If checked, MyBuddy will be added as a member of the IM group. MyBuddy can not be removed by a user.
