Correct.

You need to use an SBC if you are sending to a siptrunk. The provider
templates will not appear otherwise.

If you are not using sipxbridge, it could be a problem.

One way to overcome it (Disclaimer: Not sure of how this will work), is to
create an unmanaged SBC. Then create your siptrunk with all your settings.
The issue I see with this is: 1. One would assume the IP would need to be
sipxecs itself. 2. Not sure how this will play with call signalling and so
forth, but mostly how media relay would get along with it. 3. Would you need
siptrunking role enabled in order to use an unmanaged SBC and not sipxbridge
to do this?
