Yes, I believe that is correct.  It does depend, of course, on the nature of 
your master DNS server.

The slave should become aware of the change the next time to downloads the zone 
from the master server.  IIRC, from your configuration, it may take up to 1/2 
hour for that to happen.

I don't know.  But as a general rule, you need to put the correct DNS 
information in a DNS server that is globally accessible.  Usually that is the 
DNS server that services your installation, which will not be on the same host 
as runs sipXecs.  It would probably be helpful to talk to the person who 
maintains the DNS service for your installation to incorporate sipXecs's DNS 
needs into your existing infrstructure.
