Hi Norman,
Thanks for sharing, I ran into the same problems with Aastra phones. For your second issue, I already created an issue last week: http://track.sipfoundry.org/browse/XX-8309. For the 3rd issues I just created a new issue: http://track.sipfoundry.org/browse/XX-8330, feel free to update with more information. ----- Eelco Brölman | Sr. Product Specialist | Telecats bv | KvK Enschede 06069106 Tel: +31 53 488 99 28 | Fax: +31 53 488 99 10 | E-mail: [email protected] From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Norman Branitsky Sent: Monday, May 03, 2010 5:04 To: [email protected] Subject: [sipx-users] Some sipXecs 4.2 problems resolved A few weeks ago, I built a CentOS 5.4 64 bit version of sipXecs 4.0.4 on a VMware server. I configured this server to match my existing sipXecs installation and moved the VMware image to production. This week, I installed the sipXecs 4.2 CentOS 5.2 32 bit ISO on my original standalone server (2 power supplies). I configured this server to match the sipXecs 4.0.4 server plus some extra features (e.g. IM, etc.) Today I tested and promoted the 4.2 server to production. I had to resolve the following three problems: 1. No autoattendant or voicemail - had to delete G722 from the System > Servers > cssip1.cherniaksoftware.com > Media Servers Codecs list. 2. Aastra 53i and 57i showing No Service and could not make outgoing calls - Default Proxy and Registrar Ports were set to 5060 - changed to 0. 3. Aastra phones still need to have GRUU disabled or they hang up after 3 seconds.Added the following to /etc/sipxpbx/aastra/aastra.cfg sip gruu: 0 sip instance id: 0 -- Norman Branitsky +1 416.798.7948 Cherniak Software Development Corporation Fax: +1 416.798.0948 509-2001 Sheppard Avenue East [email protected] Toronto, ON M2J 4Z8 sip:[email protected] Canada http://www.CherniakSoftware.com
