Ly,

I don't know that this combination has been tested with sipXbridge and
FaxFinder. Usually we'll bring the signal in on PRI into SmartNode 4960
gateway and then route to a Smartnode 4112/2js for fax line. Tony will
pipe up if he has tested this with sipXbridge. The questions here is
T.38 compatibility with your ITSP provider and also with sipXbridge. If
you have a limited budget these might be waters you don't want to play
in.

Subject: [sipx-users] FaxFinder and SipX Help

Can someone point me in the right direction on how to configure a
Multitech FaxFinder with SipXecs? We currently have SipX deployed with
a siptrunk and using the sipxbridge, so do not have a physical gateway
or SBC. What we would like to be able to do is use the FaxFinder to
route the incoming Faxes via DID to the correct persons. From what I
have read, some of you guys have been able to achieve this with the use
of a Patton Smartnode. My budget is quite limited, so I have several
questions for those that have done this.

1. What is the minimum Patton Smartnode to purchase to achieve
this. One with both FXO/FXS ports? Or just FXS ports will suffice?

2. What is the role of the Smartnode since we are already using an
ITSP with siptrunk/sipxbridge?

3. Is there a simple config template for the Smartnode to fit in
to this scenario?

Any help for this would be appreciated.
