Well, the MultiTech used to have ports that could connect to FXO or FXS... The newer units are FXO only which means you have to plug into an FXS gateway.
The one down side to this (from a patton perspective) is that you can't send DTMF digits after the fax picks up with an FXS gateway... so routing to individual mailboxes is not possible with newer multitechs. This is where my last install puked... I ended up just using the two different lines into the multitech for two different mailboxes. Tony, do you know if this was addressed?
