What do the FTP logs on the remote FTP server show?
I had a junk FTP server (already installed on a workstation for another
app) that wouldn't take the command to create the directories. I
switched to Filezilla, and all is well.

I tried it on Filezilla FTP, on a Netgear NAS built in FTP server and
a Buffalo Terastation. I'm not sure if its because it was an upgrade
from 4.04 and not a clean install. I may have some settings
incorrect. I'll give pure-ftpd a try.

I just tried both manual and scheduled backup to ftp (pure-ftpd, freebsd).
Both worked ok for me.

Has anyone tried using a scheduled backup of SipX config/VM to FTP
on 4.2? It seems like it is not working correctly. I've tried 3
different FTP servers. SipX makes the connection as per FTP log
but it is not backing up anything. Refresh of the ftp folder is
empty. A local backup on the SipX server works fine.
