Hi Mike,

I tested the HT503 FXS and FXO outbound only.
FXS: Works fine no apparent issues detected
FXO: I only was planning on using it as E911 emergency outbound trunk which
works "fine".
 - It was setup as an unmanaged GW
 - Hang-up is not detected if the remote site picks up; for example if I
call my cell phone, the voice mail picks up and I hang up the phone (the one
that is using the FXO), then the FXO does not disconnect; just fills up the
voicemail box.
 - Maybe somebody figured that one out...

Marcello

Subject: [sipx-users] Got any Grandstream HT503 war stories?

A rather vague question I know, but does anyone have any experiences
that they can share on using the Grandstream HandyTone HT503 with
sipXecs?

I am mostly interested in the FXO side of it in situations where only 1
or 2 PSTN lines are required.

Thanks

Mike
