We now have SuSe builds working fairly well and I invite people to begin
testing and let me know if you find any issues. Initial test look good but
have not tested all the features.

You can find them here:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/sipfoundry:/test/

Builds are both 64bit and 32bit. Although I've only been testing 64bit.

A few outstanding issues:
1. On suse, you must manually select to install the java-sun-devel package. If
not it will autoselect the java-ibm-devel and break the openfire install.
2. After install freeswitch will complain about finding its libraries. Simply
type 'ldconfig /usr/local/freeswitch/lib' and restart the media services.
3. After install sipxconfig fails to start. Type these commands:
  ln -s /usr/lib64/apache2-prefork/mod_cgi.so /usr/lib64/apache2/mod_cgi.so
  ln -s /usr/lib64/apache2-prefork/mod_info.so /usr/lib64/apache2/mod_info.so
  ln -s /usr/lib64/apache2-prefork/mod_ssl.so /usr/lib64/apache2/mod_ssl.so

The last issue requires a patch to sipxconfig general.m4...so that is forth
coming.

I hope to have those fixed soon.

In addition you can try a livecd installer from here:
http://susestudio.com/download/9cd69170e1fa71ef790b2ac946507864/SIPFoundry_SipXecs_4.2_on_SuSe_11.x86_64-0.0.8.iso

The above fixes have been scripted in the installer so there is no need to
worry about them.

FYI...these are a 4.2.1 built with lazieburds patches...so a big thanks to him!
