i'll take a look.  If the dependencies are not right, random ordering
is maybe causing this.

yes, i see that too.  benign, but still not correct

Nothing manually configured on the disk, it is the exact ISO downloaded from
the link provided.  I have successfully installed Centos 5.4 onto this
machine prior to trying this ISO.  Interesting, I do recall that when I
installed from the ISO, prior to formatting the disk, it didn't ask me how I
wanted it formatted as it generally does.   SO, that may be a previous
format from when I installed Centos 5.4 by itself.   I might try
re-installed from the ISO just to see if it installs differently.
