I am thinking I've tested against this and found the only way presence was supported in bria was if you used BOTH the bria phone and the Bria XMPP client.
Example: Login as user 200 on Bria, login as pidgin on bria (also user 200). Login as user 201 (Spark). user 200 calls AA, 201 does not see presence change. Logoff pidgin and enable user 200 bria xmpp client. user 200 calls AA, user 201 sees presence change immediately. If you are doing something different that does not require the bria xmpp client to be used but still shows presence, please share. I was under the understanding that the bria (3.0) phone and xmpp client had to be used as a pair for this to work. I wrote some wiki stuff about it too, but if you now the ingredients for some secret sauce...
