And here starts the confusion, according to Al sipXecs is moving to
openscs,
his words: "we will keep the sipXec name" so SipFoundry will have to use
"sipYecs" or something like that?
If I am not mistaken there will be 2 open source versions,
- sipXecs under the openscs/Avaya umbrella
maybe called openscs, but Avaya keeps the sipXecs name
- sipYecs under the Sipfoundry/eZuce umbrella
Both versions will be GPL, so both can "borrow" code from each other.
And then there will be maybe 2 commercial versions????
- SCS, the commercial openscs/sipXecs version by Avaya
- eZuce, the commercial version of sipYecs
