Yes. Voice Operator Panel is a soft phone that you install on a Windoze
computer. You can put a headseat on that computer and use it just like
that.

However ,you can also add a “tethered” phone to it. With the tether
features, the call comes into the console, and the tether phone is added to
the call. Basically, you answer the calls on the tether phone. But, all of
your presence, as well as transfer, hold, etc. is done on the console
itself. What is nice is if you have vlans, you can put the computer with
console on your data vlan, and the phone on your voice vlan. You get higher
quality voice by using an actual telephone than if you use a USB device, yet
the large screen and convenience of drag and drop on the console itself.

If you add a second monitor to your receptionist console, and turn it to
portrait mode rather than landscape, you get an excellent presence monitor.

Additionally, you can enable a CRM feature on it that will do searches in
your crm based on the call name and number. You get a screen pop in its own
integrated browser, that is extremely fast. Your receptionist, or call
center agent has immediate access to the caller records based on CNAM.

It integrates nicely with sipXecs, and due to some initiatives with eZuce,
apparently the integration is better now, and getting even better yet.

They have a 30 day trial program. The product comes in 4 different
flavors, but too much detail for this email.

One other great feature, you can insert a new directory in the program, and
then put in your telephone numbers, along with a name for them. When
someone calls one of those particular numbers, it will show who is calling,
as well as the number they are calling. You can use this for one
receptionist for multiple companies so they answer with the correct company
name, or for advertising promotions so you know if they are calling a
specific number for your ads, etc. It’s a great feature. I use it for one
receptionist answering for three different companies.

I’ve had good luck with Voice Operator Panel - www.Voiceoperatorpanel.com

Works well, reliable, and quick call processing for large environments.
Their tether feature is the bomb - you can use a good quality phone, with PC
console transacting the calls.

Hi Guys

I am using Sipx with Linksys phone system. I have a Linksys 946 with side
car suppose for receptionist using.

However, it seems BLF presence is not working.

I wonder, could someone recommend a reception software console?

Thanks,

Sen
