I am using Grandstream HT503 to connect analog lines to
Sipx. I have one line that is causing problems. When it
connects I get static filled sound from Voice Mail. The
phone company is CenturyLink and we are using their Centrex
System for our analog lines. They say the line is fine.
Currently the HT503 is using PCMU. Would it be better to use
another codec? Such as PCMA, G723, G729, G726-32, iLBC,
AAL2-G726-40 or G729E.
Or is there something else I need to look at?
