going back to cisco remotes (my problem: I was changing configs, but
pfsense was mucking up the tftp so the profile never go to phone)
sip:[email protected]
<sip:[email protected]:5060;transport=udp;x-sipX-privcontact=192.168.0.7%3A5060%3Btransport%3Dudp>
cisco 7960, firmware 8-12.
HAVE to set 'nat' on the phone to 1 or it won't even register.
having nat to 1, and setting the 'nat address' to the public address, it
registers like this:
<sip:[email protected]:5060;transport=udp;x-sipX-nonat>
setting nat address to private address and set 'nat_received_processing
1 gets me
<sip:[email protected]:5060;transport=udp;x-sipX-nonat>
(yes, I changed two things at once)
again, if anyone has a WORKING CISCO 7960 REMOTE CONFIG, if you would,
take the private info out (including SIP$MAC name) and email it to me,
or post it.
the 'normal:' this is how you do remote workers might not work with cisco's.
you docs say: proxy address should be domain (this puts it into cnf as
'outbound_proxy: "domain.com") CISCO says this is a NO NO, must be
dotted quad.
you say 'put proxy outbound' to be the public ip (need to manually do
this for every line. ok)
you say turn all natting off on phone (if I set nat_enable on phone to
0, it won't even register)
so, please, if you are running polycom's, fine. thanks, yes, firmware
3.13c doesn't do SLA, firmware 3.2.x rings once and goes to voicemail.
help out a cisco guy please. got too many of these.
sipx 4.2.0, cisco 8-12 firmware.
