I am not getting any ANSWER SECTION back for that. I will make sure its hostname is resolvable through DNS and then try.... What are my options if the hostname of the sipX server is not a FQDN...that maps to an IP address..? ________________________________________ For testing, you can insert the server's IP address as the SIP domain name. That is not officially supported and is very inflexible, but it works. For production, sipXecs needs a SIP domain name, and DNS must map that name to the server's address either through an A record or SRV records. In the latter case, the SIP domain name does not need to be the hostname of the server(s).
