External sbc's handle the siptrunk. Sipx thinks its a gateway, so the call
sets up differently.

it actually, it works if you don't need autentication.  no p-asserted, etc.

only time max-forwards isn't 70 is when I select an sbc route that isn't
sipxbridge.

I was wondering why sipx decides that it can hand off a forwarded call
with a max-forwards=1 and expect it to actually go somewhere.
I assume your external, managed sbc also sees the max-forwards=1, but
doesn't care?
