Hi,

we would like to move our dns records to godaddy dns servers, but they do not support NAPTR records. Is it possible to use sipxecs without NAPTR records and how important is this NAPTR record?
yes
they are optional unless you need them.
Older MS windows servers didn't support them anyway.

Or if we need such record, is there a way to use additional SRV or TXT records as workaround for DNS servers that do not support NAPTR?

use their advanced function to download and update a BIND dis zone. if that doesn't make sense, don't try it, don't ask about it.

without an NAPTR record you can't use polycom's (or other phones) in 'NAPTR' mode.

How have setup you DNS records in godaddy dns servers?

yes, as a test, just in cause we wanted to use it.
(but didn't try NAPTR records)

Thanks in advanced!
