The phone being monitored must support dialogue events. If using the bria, you must also use its xmpp client.

Right now I have 2 Macs running Bria 3.1 and 10 Snom phones and 2 Aastra phones. The Bria users see each others presence while the status of the remaining users shows: "Waiting for response". So we run Spark on the Macs to see the other users presence. The receptionist has to run Spark and eyeBeam to see whether anyone is on the phone. I changed the Account > Presence > Mode from "Peer-to-peer" to "Presence Agent" but that doesn't seem to make the Bria presence communicate with sipXecs XMPP server. -- Norman Branitsky +1 416.798.7948 Cherniak Software Development Corporation Fax: +1 416.798.0948 509-2001 Sheppard Avenue East [email protected] Toronto, ON M2J 4Z8 sip:[email protected] Canada http://www.CherniakSoftware.com _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/
