I am trying to see if I can get the polycom phones supported in 4.2
into a 4.0 system. I think all I have to do is grab the
/etc/sipxpbx/polycom directory and the
/usr/share/java/sipXecs/sipXconfig/polycom-phones.jar file with the
proper permissions and owner.

I think I will not see them show up until I reboot as the jar file
will need to be extracted again, is this correct or is it more to it
than that?

Furthermore, does anyone see anything dangerous in doing this? I
don't, but "that's me".
