Ah, good to know! sipx can put those files in the tftproot (which both ftp and tftp can pull from), obviously they have a file type and parameters that can be written, and in some cases the manufacturer writes "several' files for each device. Obviously items 1 & 2 need to be addressed (interop and srv support).
