Since the call to the conference goes to the proxy, does the proxy log show
anything interesting? Can you get a call trace?

Snom is somewhat "unkind" in their error messages. The Snom forums are full
of message about why the "wrong error message" is being given when perhaps a
"405" or something more in line with the error.

At the same time I "am not a snom expert". I like the 8xx series because
they have vpn and don't have paper templates, but a lot of these phones are
constantly fixed (firmware) for the MS platform more than anything else.

So your UA is 8.1.x, but 8.4.18 is the latest.

What is wrong with this picture? Here is the firmware changelog:

<http://wiki.snom.com/Firmware/V8/Release_Notes/Change_Log_V8>According to
the "changelog" the are enhancements and new features. No fixes. I guess
their stuff is perfect.

It would be good to see what the proxy/conference service are saying, so is
it possible to get a call trace?
