I tried this, just to see what would happen.
doesn't seem to like SRV records. (i tried to use domain as register/proxy and it went for the domain a record.. which is a web server) finally got it to do something, could dial internal ata, and I saw G.711 stuff happening.. but no fax ever showed up.
tried to dial out, but it would not dial out
(using just sipx -> level3 sip trunks)
yes, I can send faxes outbound via cisco ata paps. set fax to 33.6, and I have seen G3 faxes go out.

I use theirt free T.38 Fax plugin for windows. It's really nice as it installs a FAX Printer driver...

It works fine with our patton BRI Gateways.

Does anyone have a FXS adapter set for t.38 sitting behind sipx?
If so, a click to call sip URI could test the t.38<->sip<->t.38
    via the Internet...

I am in the process of wanting to try a couple of different
        t.38 test scenarios.

I would like to try sending a lengthy (10-15 page) fax to a
test system from a t.30 (POTS analog) line.
I would like to configure a temporary t.38 siptrunk and try a
        test fax (10-15 page).
I would like to see if anyone has a t.38 capable fax machine
already set up and can send a pure internet fax (or setup a
dialplan/forward rule) to achieve the same thing.

Is there anyone out there with a t.38 capable sip provider?
Is someone interested in sending me a couple of test faxes?
Does anyone have a t.38 fax machine they already use?
