It is a known bug as in "attended transfers to media server" fail "I think".
This is being ironed out in 4.4 right now. ============================ Tony Graziano, Manager Telephone: 434.984.8430 Fax: 434.984.8431 Email: [email protected] LAN/Telephony/Security and Control Systems Helpdesk: Telephone: 434.984.8426 Fax: 434.984.8427 Helpdesk Contract Customers: http://www.myitdepartment.net/gethelp/ ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> To: [email protected] users <[email protected]> Sent: Wed Jan 05 17:28:58 2011 Subject: [sipx-users] main AA cant't dial secondary AA? 4 digit dial plan, can dial AA, then dial ALMOST any other 4 digit extension, user, alias, huntgroup, etc. HOWEVER, have another AA, called 'conference', with extension 3806. when I dial 3806 from inside, I get our conference AA when I dial that extension from outside (after AA answers), I get 'That extension is invalid'. could this be one of those freeswitch direct transfer problems? why can't I dial an AA from an AA? when I dial the DID, (in as an alias for the AA), the conference AA answers. its only when I dial the main AA that I get 'That extension is invalid' and nothing in CDR. (yes, I have other 4 digit extensions that start with 38 that work.) I did put the extension in as an alias (and surprised it took it) restarted services that it asked to restart, and it didn't help. put in 1806 as an alias (restarted services). dialing 3806 (extension for AA) or 1806 (alias for AA) from inside works. dialing 3806 or 1806 from primary AA does not work. tried 3806#, 1806#, still nothing. tcpdump/wireshark shows the correct digits coming in, but doesn't show it even trying to transfer the call. only thing that worked was to put a dialpad entry in for option 'auto attendent', and that works, from inside and outside. Which means, that any timebased AA differences won't take affect, since you have to explicitly name the AA you are selecting. So, why can't I dial the 'extension' or alias for an AA from an AA? so, remind me how to do a sipx trace? for the call at 09:18 (seems sipxlogs are in GMT) sipregistrar.log: call to 5619995000 (account: 9995000), AA is extension 1000. 2010-12-30T14:18:56.711682Z":89426:SIP:NOTICE:sip.secnap.com:SipRedirectServer-13:B5E73B90:SipRegistrar:"ContactList::add(): [120-ALIAS] SipRedirectorAliasDB
