Mostly want a standby AA/VM/ call fwd in case main goes out.
But, my understanding is VM is set up as SERVER roles, and you can't
have two servers with VM role.
What I want to avoid is 'your call cannot be completed at this time' if
main fiber goes out, main power goes out, main firewall goes out, main
router goes out, or main sipx server goes out.
I would not need phones in main office to be able to make calls (they
can't: see above, something bad happened)
The ITSP can send to a secondary public ip (on a different network) if
it can't reach the primary public ip.
I would want a familiar AA, I would want DID's to go to a familiar user
number, and if phones are unavailable (they would be) I would want CALL
FWD to individual cell phones on no answer type action to kick in. At
the least, I would want VM to answer at secondary site to answer and FWD
the voice mail to the cell phones.
Is this something I can setup with sipx?
I think I can 'ghost' the primary and load it on a secondary (change ip)
and not have them linked, but then every time I make a change on the
primary I would have to remember to dup it to the secondary.
