Now it is about the password :). Since I can't find a way to get past my md5 problem, I need sipx to auto generate the password. According to http://wiki.sipfoundry.org/display/sipXecs/LDAP+Integration, if not attribute is chosen, the system should auto generate the password when it imports the users. >The password used by phones to register with sipXecs. The administrator has >the option to: a) map this field >to the LDAP attribute; b) set the initial value for all the fields; or c) let >sipXconfig randomly generate a value. Sipx is not managing phones but I do need it to do two things I've yet to figure out, 1; auto generate the password and 2; Automatically assign user extensions from the pool It's doing neither one and I'm stumped on how to get past this. _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/
