I have multiple sipX servers and I shove all my registrations off onto the HA servers. This leaves all the media services and RLS server and config server and everything else with all the horsepower needed to run properly. I also created a document showing how to make your phones register based on location using DNS: http://wiki.sipfoundry.org/display/sipXecs/Location+based+DNS+views+for+sipXecs+using+BIND

What would be wise when setting up a system with a few thousand users? considering balancing load? Since the master server has voicemail, primary sip router, configserver, primary sip trunk, auto-attendant Should I move some registrations to a secondary or third sip router? This should be possible using the priority and weight setting in the zone file. If someone could give me some tips that would be nice :) Kind regards, Henry Dogger Telecats BV
