You might be better off buying a wireless Ethernet bridge and using a fully supported phone. You can buy a cheap Cisco/Linksys WRT54GL or a Netgear WNR2000 and put DD-WRT on it and use it as a wireless bridge as well. I did that so my parents could watch Netflix on their Samsung bluray player so they wouldn't have to spend $80 on the Samsung branded dongle. Gives you a 4 port switch so you could have a computer in that location as well.
