One step I forgot to put in the wiki, you have to go into media services under
the servers section and hit “Apply” so the configuration will be generated then
sipX will ask you to restart the service.

Subject: [sipx-users] Music on Hold Quality

[cid:[email protected]]

Hi,

Are there any plans to increase the sample rate supported for music on hold?
The current quality is terrible, especially over G722 where an increase in
supported sample rate would have huge gains. Even using standard definition
codecs an increased sample rate would have benefits.

Kind Regards,

Ben Goodfellow
