Has anyone tried running an openvpn client on the sipx server? We have an unusual situation where the sipx server is required to be backup up with a specific vendors backup software. The client does not have a choice as its required by their medical software vendor they use for DR. They do have a linux backup agent but this remote office has no vpn to the main location where backup is stored.
They currently use client vpn's to the backup server to initiate backups. I've done some initial testing and it seems to work, but sipx does not tolerate a 2 network interfaces and so I'm not sure how it will deal with the tunnel. Has anybody tried this? Issues? -M
