We have been using 'telemate' http://www.telemate.com for years - so when sipXecs was added to the mix - we just created another data source in telemate. That data gets imported daily - we then use the built in reports/etc. for bill backs to send to departments.
We have a 'phone pc' that collects cdrs from our aging NEC phone system via a serial cable - I wrote a small app that sits on that box and connects to the cdr database on sipXecs and pulls in the appropriate data and exports it to a csv that telemate then reads in. It has been working very smoothly. This is probably a bit overkill - the cheapest thing would be to just write a quick access app that pulls out what you want/need.
