[sipx-users] 4.4.0-> auth from sip trunk asked? with merged.xml

Hi All,

We have a SIP trunk with 'IP authentication', which means the trunk works only with our fixed public IP address.
We have a 4.4.0 installation, and we do this:
  1. We create a new extension with one of the pstn numbers of the trunk as user ID (31307670690)
  2. There is no phone registered with that extension
  3. The extension has voicemail permissions (default)
  4. When we call the extension from another internal extension, the call is forwarded to voicemail
  5. When we call the extension from the PSTN, then we get the message from the operator that 'the phone number is not in use'.
  6. Looking at the merged.xml for the call we see that the call is diverted to voicemail by the SipRegistrar, but then the SipXproxy decides it wants the call authenticated.
  7. The Authentication request is (407) is returned to the ITSP, which does not do anything with the request of course.
I have attached the merged.xml.  We also tried this with a new extension with the PSTN number as an alias tot the extension. Same result....
Any ideas on why this happens would be most welcome....
