This is mostly a question for Polycom support, but since I'm waiting to hear back from them, I figured I'd ask here. Has anyone run into a problem with the SoundPoint IP 450's display, specifically a weird "ghosting" issue where the font on the display doesn't look right? I just received a number of 450's and they all seem to have this problem.
The firmware has been updated to 3.2.5 with bootrom 4.3.0, phone revision J. I don't think it's a sipx problem, because the phone is fully functional. The network menu at boot looks fine, but the text gets distorted as soon as the sip application loads. There's a note in the firmware release that makes it sound like this problem was fixed, but it doesn't appear to have worked. -- Mike Graham Director of Information Technology Hempfield School District
