Wasn't sure how else to put this. I have a requirement for a system that could handle 2,000 or so calls per day. However, depending on weather, the system might have to scale up to ~20,000 per hour.
I was thinking perhaps calculating the total amount of traffic for bandwidth needed then maybe using something like a burstable SIP trunk provider but that might not cut it. From what I've learned about sipx, it could handle this but I'm not sure how to handle the instant rush of traffic.
