Has anyone else noticed anything odd when setting a user's call forwarding to ring a cell phone, then fall back to voicemail on the sipXecs platform? I've noticed the same behavior on both my 4.2.1 and 4.4.0 test systems. If I set the expiration for the cell to 15 seconds and nobody picks up on the cell (it's not long enough to go to the cell's VM), then when I'm leaving a message for the user on the sipXecs platform I get disconnected after approximately 15 seconds and the voicemail is not saved. The BYE is coming from sipxbridge. When I try the same sequence only with call forwarding set to a regular PSTN landline, I can successfully leave a message for the user. The only thing I can see that's different when comparing the SIP messaging between the two scenarios is how early media is handled. In the forwarding to cell scenario, I see 183 session progress with SDP in addition to the 180 ringing with SDP, as opposed to just 180 ringing with SDP for the landline. Without having delved into the code as of yet, it seems to me that there is possibly some sort of timer that is not getting cancelled in the first case. SIP traces and pcaps are available to illustrate. _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/
