That's always the best starting point for folks new to the
project.  Also, always yum update the complete system after
installing from ISO.

If you can't do this...  You should have CentOS 5.6
installed, I'd recommend you install the CentOS repos.

Copy the repo file like you did...

Then:
  yum install bind ntp dhcp

Then you can:
  yum install sipxecs

Then you would:
  sipxecs-setup-system

Do yourself a favor... 1 nic card in the system, answer 'no'
to dns and dhcp questions (disable dhcp service if you don't
need it, but at least you'll have it and its configured).
