George,
     I made mongod running by removing the mongod.lock and start the 
mongod service..After that what content should be paste in 
/etc/sysconfig/mongod?Also there is no file or directory called mongod 
in /etc/sysconfig..So can you please help me out..Because I tried by 
creating a empty file "mongod" in /etc/sysconfig.But still cannot access 
sipXconfig..
